Lynn Swart
Lynn is originally from Pietermaritzburg, Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa.
She was based in Southampton for 18 years and had the privilege of being a part of the leadership team and overseeing the worship department at New Community Church , she is now based up in Manchester and is involved in Ivy Manchester. Lynn travels extensively and is used in training and equipping in churches as well as speaking and leading worship at various conferences around the United Kingdom and in many parts of Europe, Africa, Asia and the USA.
Lynn's prophetic emphasis and sensitivity in leading worship is widely recognised and has influenced many lives. She has a passion to see the Bride of Christ released in extravagant love for the Groom, Jesus, as part of everyday lifestyle.
Lynn has recorded a number of albums with a combination of African and Celtic sounds.
In 1980 Lynn left teaching and began working in her local church, the Pietermaritzburg Christian Church. She was a part of the Ministry Team with responsibility for training, developing and encouraging the worship teams in the church.
During this time Lynn began to take up invitations to travel to other churches in Southern Africa and God began to use her to bring refreshing and encouragement to his Bride.
In 1984 Lynn had a serious swimming accident which left her partially paralysed. Through the various experiences that this took her through, Lynn has had the opportunity to share of the faithfulness and healing power of God, that after spending many months in hospital and then in a wheelchair, He restored her to complete health.
