This last weekend saw the re-opening of a newly refurbished Central Hall here in Southampton …and what a wonderful time we had – both at the morning and evening celebrations!
It felt a bit like the story back in 2 Chronicles 5 and 7, where the newly built temple was being dedicated to the Lord, was coming alive today!!..and the words “He is good and His love endures forever” filled my heart and real desire rose up inside, that if we, as a community, loved and praised Him,His glory,His goodness, would fill us all to overflowing!!
In 1 Peter 2:5 is says “present yourselves as building stones for the construction of a sanctuary vibrant with life,in which you'll serve as holy priests offering Christ-approved lives up to God.”
...my prayer is that as we head towards Christmas and remember the birth of Jesus we would know something new about Him and that as we are part of His great “sanctuary” we would experience a greater measure of His glory, which is His goodness...and His love would so impact our hearts that nothing else would matter but to live for Him and be passionate to see “His Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven”
