At last I'm catching up with my way overdue "musings"

This last while has been filled with travel, travel and more travel and then meetings and more meetings!... A friend once said to me "when all else fails... have a meeting!"
...and how easy it is to fall into that trap of business and doing... and how quickly I forget the desires of my heart - "to only do the things I see my Father doing".. sometimes that's easier said than done.

I was reading in Numbers 15 and God tells Moses to give some very clear instruction to the Isrealites - to make tassles on the end of their garments with blue thread, and the reason behind this? - to remind them of Gods commands to them and to be sure to obey them - and by so doing be set apart for God.

and then...I remembered

in all the hectic pace of life I'm so quick to forget God and His passionate love for me - to forget to invite precious Holy Spirit into every part of my day.

So, I went through my box of jewellery and found a beautiful blue ring I inherited from my mum and have decided to wear it this month.

In CS Lewis' book " The Silver Chair" Aslan tells Jill to "remember the signs!"

My desire for this month?

Every time I look at my blue ring to remember...
- Gods immeasurable power and saving grace,to receive His love
- to include Holy Spirit ...24/7
- to remember the signs
