These past few weeks I have been travelling all over the USA and the word that had been part of each day is the word "seasons"... you can feel it in the air... in the trees changing colour...in the various TV programmes what with season finales and new seasons starting. In fact it has so captured my thinking that I've even preached on it and have been intrigued to chat with folk and see what season the enjoy the most but also in their personal journey what season describes their lives ar the moment.

The legendary preacher who touched many peoples lives back in South Africa and around the world, in the late 1800's, through his preaching and books was Andrew Murray and I found a statement he made which really is an excellent anchor in our lives no matter what the season we may be facing is this:

I am here by Gods appointment
I am here in Gods keeping
I am here under His training
I am here for His time

How fantastic is this!!!

As Paul says in Galatians 6:9 "And let is not grow weary while doing good; for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart"

Lets embrace the season God has us in...He is right there with us!!!
