I have always enjoyed the beginning of a new year - the start of something fresh

A few days back I went to movies with some friends of mine and en-route we started talking about new years resolutions and when it came to me sharing mine I had to admit that for me new year resolutions seem to become "revolutions" within a couple of weeks!!!

I can't remember how many times I have promised myself that
"this is the year to loose weight" or "this is the year to get fit"
or "this is the year to watch my pace of work" etc etc etc and then by the end of January my conversations seems to be "resolutions?...what resolutions??"

BUT I did have one resolve for this year -TO LOVE JESUS MORE

KNOWING...Him more
GROWING...as a community together
GOING...into the world He has placed us in

And so my prayer has been,that in 2009 as I love Him more,I would love His Bride more and whenever I get the chance,to be willing to share Him with others.

We are living in such complex and fearful days...lets keep it profoundly simple and in so doing simply profound

This is the time for us to pray as never before
"Thy Kingdom come,Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven"

Oh, and by the way...I joined a gym a few days back!!!
