This past while has been filled with loads of travel

I spent and incredible three weeks in South Africa and had the privilege of being able to meet up with NGO's, speak in some churches as well as have a holiday with some friends of mine, from the UK, who came out to join me for a "whistle - stop" tour of South Africa!

I was home for just a week and then headed off to Budapest to speak to an incredible bunch of worship folk from all over the world - I have such a privileged life serving God and seeing Him love, encourage and heal people with such kindness and grace.

...and now I am home and loving being back in Ivy Manchester Community and serving God in this fabulous neck of the woods.

This past weekend we celebrated the resurrection of Jesus and shouted out the truth that "HE IS RISEN...RISEN INDEED HALLELUJAH!"

One of my most fervent prayers is that I would never become a "professional" Christian but that I would always remain fascinated with all the Jesus has purchased for me through His life, His death and His resurrection and to live fresh in that daily - some days it's a whole lot more "fresh" than other days but I'm pressing on!

A few days John 3:30 caught my attention..."He must increase, but I must decrease" - and how powerful a statement this is - it challenges selfish ambition head on and challenges me to ask myself the question whether I genuinely seek the good of others, to see others elevated above myself, to have an attitude that pleases God.

...even more was I felt a real passion to ensure that in my Christian walk I regularly ask the question "who is increasing?... me or Jesus?"

I don't always get this right but my prayer this next while is...
